hey, how are you? writing this from my hotel room in Paris, I arrived last night for a quick trip and some meetings for PFW Men’s, and you’re the first to know.
it’s been 18 months since i’ve been here, Paris, tu m’as manqué (i’ve missed you). fun fact, my french is at 90%, I just need to practice more. any recommendations of how to maintain a language I spent a decade learning would be much appreciated.
i’ve also had a bunch of questions about my shirt from this week’s episode of I Have Notes — the snap denim shirt from my favourite brand, Y/Project. unfortunately, just weeks after filming this episode they announced they are closing — and it sounds like it was due to the growing issue of financial sustainability in contemporary fashion.

lesson of the week
“i don’t have time to be a snob” - I HAVE NOTES episode 2
it’s ironic that i’m in Paris for Fashion Week while having this conversation. but the aloofness of the fashion industry might just become the sword that some brands fall on if they’re not careful. if these brands aren’t creatively thinking about how to continuously create moments of joy and newness in both their product and their marketing. this week’s episode talks all about that. enjoy this week’s episode and thank you for your love and feedback so far.
please keep sharing far and wide to get the word out!
bullying works, btw.
ok not bullying per se, but asking nicely. i want this to be a continued dialogue for us all — you guys asked for IHN in podcast format, and you got it.
