Happy Monday! This email has landed few days later than planned as I just got back from sunny Algarve, Portugal and for the first time in my career, I didn’t take my laptop with me.
Now that I’m renewed and well-rested, I have approximately 3 days until I head back to Europe for another trip(!). Here’s what’s been happening in my world.

My Summer Wouldn’t Be The Same Without This
I love food, and I adore cooking. In the right circumstances, cooking can be very relaxing and good for my brain. At least 4 days a week for the past month, this salad has fulfilled my culinary dreams.
Sweet and savoury, indulgent yet incredibly healthy, and it tastes like the best that summer has to offer.
Try it, it’ll change your life.
Recipe (I’d say eyeball the ingredients to your taste)
Handful of spinach
Half an avocado
2 handfuls of strawberries
1/4 to 1/2 of a red onion
A block of feta cheese
Balsamic vinegar, olive oil, salt and cracked black pepper mixed together
Optional: cubed grilled chicken
Chef’s kiss
We can talk more about holistic health soon — obviously, I’m not an expert, but I’m a huge enthusiast and have seen it work in my life. It may do some good in yours too.
Eurosummer #1: The Category is Remote
I’m not going to go into depth about burnout as we’ve already covered that in a previous life update, but what I will say is that historically, I’m not the greatest at planning my summer vacations far in advance. That’s because, according to my loved ones, I “love working”. What can I say, I do.

This year will be my last year of being so last minute for sure because trying to plan the exact Portugal trip I had in my mind was like the Hunger Games. Everything was booked. I almost gave up. But naturally, as a very lucky girl (a theme I’ve been lowkey manifesting since my birthday) — the right place and time appeared like magic.
Breakfast started at 8:30am and there was no end time. No limits on what you could order from the menu
And dinner was a surprise 4-course menu every night, based on what the chef was feeling. Unreal.
There’s nothing like driving down a foreign traffic-free highway, surrounded by mountains bathed by the sun with sweet sounds filling up the car.
Here are some selects from my Eurosummer Playlist.
Perfect for slower, chilled vibes…
…and for those moments where you want to channel some Ibiza-adjacent energy. These are classics
Tems really dropped her new album at the perfect, perfect time.
Now, I’m looking at my suitcase, planning looks and excited to be off once again (this time, with my laptop with me). We’ve hit 7 countries this year so far (and yes I’ve been counting because it’s the most I’ve travelled in 1 year) and we still have a few more to go!
Get in winner, we’re going shopping!
One thing about me, I’m a fashion girl.
When my wallet fully catches up with my taste, it’s over for everyone. But in the meantime, I’m trying! Here’s what I’ve been shopping lately:
On my quest to find the perfect flat, I came across these Toga Pulla Slippers. They were waiting for me when I got back home and honestly, they’re perfect. A ballet flat with an edge, feminine but strong. And as a former emo girlie, I love a stud.
Summer looks aren’t complete without your go-to summer shirt, and I’ve been really, really into yellow. This yellow-striped beauty has gone straight from the store into my suitcase for destination #2 (clue: gelato!)
Glenn Martens, you will always be famous. I tend to take my clothes very seriously. I’m not a ‘buy once and forget about them’ type of person. I buy things I love because I can see them in my life for a while, I can see us growing old together and I’m not afraid of commitment. I felt like I struck gold with this denim shirt by one of my favourite brands Y/Project (designed by Glenn Martens), especially as I got it at a great price.
For the next instalment of the life update, I think we’re going to have more of my own outfit posts over images from a website. It’s just easier to see the vision. What do you think?
In fact, let me know in the comments/below what you’d like to be more of in these life updates. We’re 3 issues deep now — would love to hear your thoughts.
Sidenote: If any of you are feeling super generous — this is my new obsession and is very much on my wishlist. DM for my PO Box and send me a gift!
