#13 - “What if it doesn’t work out?” — A masterclass in hedging
How to move from doubt to action in 25 minutes
Your latest episode has arrived, and it’s going to give you the motivation you need
It all started with this tweet: “a16z and Sequoia are wrong 90% of the time…”
If some of the greatest and smartest minds in the world have accounted for the fact that things not working out is a normal part of life, then perhaps the question ‘what if it doesn’t work’ isn’t even the right question to ask. I think we should be asking a better, more productive set of questions.
Now, look at your own life. Are there steps you’re afraid of taking? Are there things that feel so exciting, that deep down you want to pursue but they feel ‘too risky’? Instead of sitting on the sidelines and doing nothing, ask yourself, 'how am I going to hedge against this risk?'. And maybe, just maybe you’ll get unstuck.

The Best Way to Send Money to 🇳🇬🇿🇦🇬🇭🇰🇪
The holiday season is upon us and that means sending gifts to family, friends and to yourself! I’m a huge fan of Africa-based fashion brands, and always need ways to send money to them without being stressed out.
I’ve been using SendSprint - it’s a great way to send gift cards to people back home in Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa or Kenya, and also set up ‘direct debit’ style regular payments which ticks one thing off your life admin list. Give them a try here and use the code WELCOME for free transactions. You’re welcome!
